Snow Day

It’s a blanket of white

And silence in the night

It’s magic in the eyes of children

Its hushed skies up high

Its hot coco in the snow

And the children will pray

It’s no school for today

So the children will go out and play

They’ll pull out the sleigh

But they won’t stray away

And though the sky is bleak and grey

And adults are dismayed

But it’s okay

It’s a snow day!
