The Color of Nature

Red is the roses that bloom in sweet air
Orange is the butterfly flitting around there.
Yellow is the sun smiling down on my head
Green is the grass that's as soft as my bed.
Blue is the sky, all open and wide
Purple is the violets, with yellow inside.
Pink is the hummingbird, so tiny and small
Brown is the Earth surrounding us all.
White is the clouds, puffy and clean
Black is the night, when the stars are seen.
