My Gratitude

MY GRATITUDE

So far, yet so near,
You know all of my fears,
You sense the tremble in my voice,
You wish to be near me,
Comfort me,
But alas, you have no choice.
You cry when I frown,
You right me when I’m wrong,
You dance with joy when I smile,
You pick me up when I fall.
Come high, come low,
You’re always by my side,
I don’t need your word,
For I know,
You’ll always be with me
In times to come by.
‘Thank you’, these words are very less,
To show how grateful to you I am,
For everything that you’ve done for me,
I don’t know when, if ever, I’ll repay you,
I truly hope that I can…..
