Crystalized Light

Hidden are the windows of your soul, only seen when you weep.
Beneath black curtains, billowing.
Brushing away the grime in one sweep,
The dust clouding your stained glass

Out of your veiw,
I am the grit you cry away
Cleanse me with your crystal tears
Vanquish my pain and fears

Your arms are my temple
Sheltered, I have faith.
Staring into your stained glass
I can finally see.

The darkeness in your soul,
lies mingled in your tears:
such sins and sowrrow.

Seperated now, I have lost my light.
Let me in,
my light will wash into your soul,
together, together we conquer and fight.

There was no space,
between you and me,
one single heart beat.
A lock and a key.

Then you stopped calling,
I was left alone.
My hurt, bleeding heart
needed to be sewn.

While I was mending,
those shattered pieces,
I was imperfect;
covered in creases.

Vulnerabley, exposed and weak,
i built a wall,
each brick a memory,
each lie the cement.

Crumble down around me,
and maybe you'll see
the person i've tried to hide
who've you made me be.
