Storm - By Holly Smith 18/2/07
Sitting at my window
Listening to the raindrops, pitta patter, pitta patter
The wind blowing threw the naked branches
I cuddle my teddy bear and sip my hot drink
The rain on the roof sounds like tap-dancers dancing to really fast music
BOOM!
The thunder rattles the windows like a rattle snakes tail
The lightning blinks like white flashing lights
Then suddenly everything stops
And the sun peeks out behind a dark grey cloud trying to jump out
The birds flutter down from their nests and pick the worms out of the wet grass and try to
enjoy the sun while they can.
