The severing of the ties of a  priceless promise, a cherished connection

The convoluted sinews of an irreplacable  friendship embedded into the  tender fabric of her heart

All lacerated to shreads of anguish
   
The agonozing removal of rivets another indelible scar to be carved into her forsaken heart
     
A threadbare skeleton of perpetual memories remaining to plague her present and commemorate her past

She rests her worn body against the smudged walls of the hall he once walked

His presence no longer located in her life, only  underneath the frayed patches screening her delicate heart and woven into the embroidery of bittersweet memories
