Missing Pieces

I'm looking for the answers
the answers hidden in the back of my mind
I'm afraid I won't know when,
how, or what I'll find
It's a mystery to be unraveled
a game in everyone's eyes
the last puzzle piece, seems,
it doesn't fit with the rest of the rhyme

I can name a time; a place
that's all I'm going to say
this will be the first clue
the first clue for the first day

time is running out
your fun is almost up
the pieces just don't fit
your afraid it's not enough

'if you give up now,' he started
'I'm sorry to say this vow,'
'the mystery for the puzzle,'
'is exactly who you are now.'
