Hyper Critical Self Reflection in Ethics
I walk into the room
And so begins the buckling of my knee
I find my seat and sit
I feel their stares burning right through me
Without hesitation
My body becomes a wild flame
My peers are all speaking to me
Without even calling my name
They scream, They yell
They offend and holler
Its as ferocious and painful
As listening to Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler
I can hear their thoughts
"You're worthless,and pathetic!"
"You've lost from the beginning!"
I feel ill, I should visit the medic
When all hope is lost
And I feel myself dying
I remember to be strong
No time for whimpering and heavy sighing
So take heed of my words
My fellow wandering stranger
Remember that you are not alone
No one is impervious from this sort of danger
And so begins the buckling of my knee
I find my seat and sit
I feel their stares burning right through me
Without hesitation
My body becomes a wild flame
My peers are all speaking to me
Without even calling my name
They scream, They yell
