They burned your body,
Your soul it lingers,
In the falling snow,
and the rain,
and the sun,
and the pain,
it lingers,
inside of me,
the cuts run deeper,
scarred with your absence,
your voice still here,
like your words,
it lingers,
your face,
the pictures,
your laugh inside my mind,
the longing and heartache,
the tears behind my eyes,

people and their sobs,
the love and the care,
your ashes in the air,
