Individuality Depends on the Crowd

I want to be different,
but it's getting hard.
Individuality has alwasy been my strength.
I've worn skinny jeans and black band shirts,
with "All Time Low" written on my face.
Now I slip into the crowd,
fit with the Jonas Brother fans.
Can't they see I'm different?
Sometimes I don't think I am.
I miss the days where I'd say Gaskarth
and everyone would say "what?"
I miss the days when I was marked rebel
with my headphones held up high.
I'm the same unique person,
but now everyone else is too.
So here's the real question.
Are you ready? Here it comes.
Do I change to become different?
Or stay the same and just blend in?

I'm desperate to stand out, and I used to. Now the tides have changed and everyone is "different". Standing out has been my strength, but standing out from the other posers is not.
