You Weren’t the One
I knew you weren’t the one
When you didn’t come,
I stayed in that room drowning,
I could see you frowning,
Saying, “How could you be so blind?”
I guess you made me lose my mind.
Now I’m lost, never found,
Lying alone, on the cold ground.
I stared out in the nothingness,
No longer happy, no more bliss.
I wonder why,
I couldn’t cry,
If I was all alone.
When you didn’t come,
I stayed in that room drowning,
I could see you frowning,
Saying, “How could you be so blind?”
I guess you made me lose my mind.
Now I’m lost, never found,
Lying alone, on the cold ground.
I stared out in the nothingness,
No longer happy, no more bliss.
I wonder why,
I couldn’t cry,
If I was all alone.
