Life Is The Poetry

Where life is the poetry,
and love is the life.
I pay the fee
with my heart's strife.
Our everlasting passion
will never die out.
We'll show them love is the fashion,
and nothing's for now.

I was so afraid of losing you,
I didn't realize you were here all along.
I was afraid you'd run away and fine someone new,
afraid I'd never again hear love's song.
When you held me I had given up to my heart,
when you kissed me I needed you with soul and body.
I knew you could never tear my apart,
a true heart you've showed me.

Showed me what it meant to be truly happy,
what it meant to finally feel.
The warmth from your love inside by body.
This sensation is just so real.
Here you are, standing in front of my face.
I dare not blink incase I miss
your beauty, elegance, and grace,
the picture of perfection which I long to kiss.

I realize I was chasing a ghost in the mist,
when I first turned away form you.
When I for the first time lost your kiss,
I wasn't sure what to do.
So, again I cam back on my hands and knees,
letting years smear the dust on my face.
I begged you to forgive me,
to, please, make me feel in place.

When you opened your arms and took me back
I felt a new me growing inside,
I felt you lifting me into the white and out of the black.
Without you I would have surely died.
One more kiss and one mroe dance,
one more night together.
I'll show you I deserve a second chance,
I promise I'll love you forever.

Forever my heart is in the palm of your hand,
forever I offer my very breathe of life to you,
forever may we walk in God's land,
forever I promise to be true.
Just hold me one last time and kiss away the tears.
Take my body,
and touch away the fears.
Just love me.
