As we tread lightly
through the soft summer sand,
to me you edge closer
and gently take my hand.

And we sit on that shore,
you pull me near
and give me that kiss
that I hold so dear.

And I wish we could stop
this perfect embrace
and freeze this moment
just in case

we lose that spark
we had tonight.
So when our love
Is out of sight,

We can call it back
in its perfect form
and reseal that rift
that fate has torn.

And the memory still
will seem the same to me.
Then you release your kiss
and I finally see

that I can’t freeze this moment.
