My Lover's Hands

My lover is a vampire, but he is very gentle
That is what I had first beleive
My lover carign when i was sick
We never talked about kids
Becasue we never though about having kids
That all changed one afternoon
He had gone otu to work and got home early
I later found out he had been laid off
At the time I didnt' think aobut the danger I might be in
That night he had warned me about hwo bad it mgiht get
But I did not listen to him
I thought I would be able to handly him
Just that I didn't know what he could do
With each day that without work my lover got more and more violent
To the point i was scared for my life
Two months of this I decide thati was no longer safe
I told my lover that once he had a job that i would come back
That night I had left with tears streamign down my face
Just taht fiver years had past and my lover still didn't get a hold of me
So I decide to stop by
I was not really shocked when i saw my lover with another women
It broke my heart to know i had been replaced
But i could sense that his new lover was a vampire
So it was better this way no matter how mmush it broke my heart
This person was ment to be with him unlike me
What was I compared to his new lover
I was just another human on the streets
Who had gotten up her hopes
I really don't knwo wha to do anymore
I guess I am on my own for now
