Regrets

Tears bleeding from your soul,
As you watch those tattered wings;
Fluttering...

Every minute;
Another needle embedded into your flesh,
There's so much blood;
And with so little blood you are left

Regret is setting in;
Burrowing so deep
Infecting old wounds,
Festering your sins

Locked inside your own prison,
You watch those innocent eyes;
Crying...

Days and nights forget their color;
Mixing into one
If you're never sleeping,
Then how do you keep living on?

Those cries replaying;
Becoming the only voice you've ever known
Her tears soaking into your veins,
Her blood staining your hands...

Why can't you just wash it away?
Wipe the tears from your eyes?
The deed is done,
And your every sin was laid to rest
With the Angel you put six feet under...

Just another warning that this poem is supposed to be mainly unrhyming. It was just a random inspiration and I know it's not that great, but I like it.
