Broken Girl

A broken girl with broken hair
A broken soul in a broken chair
She left her heart in the breaker’s hands
The hands of fate her only chance

A single tear rolls down her cheek
As she takes the beating, worn and weak
It seems her suffering will never end
Her wounded soul will never mend

She moves to close the final step
Gazing into the oceans depth
With one last breathe she says goodbye
To the cold cold world she left behind

The icy cold consumes her pain
Makes her numb
Makes her sane
For the first time in her life
The truth cuts her heart like a knife

But it seems she has finally escaped
Replaced with black is white
All wrongs fade to right

A new and accepting place
Her mother’s warm embrace.

No longer alone
She’s home
