I waited, for a long time
sitting on the pavement
tapping my fingers
waiting, for you to come

When you finally arrived
i saw the confident smirk on you're face
and my heart lifted
i forgot anything you did or said that had upset-ed me
and ran to you
expecting a hug

You don't close your arms around me
you push me back gently
and look me in the eyes
and say, sorry its over

You get in your big car
and leave, and that's it
