Shiver

She steps out to a gas station, opening a door
no different then other and no magical more
stirring her coffee at the counter there, all men in the place
at her they all stare
she smiles at strangers, she'll help out a child

driving the interstate, her music palys and she's wild
not too intresting a little complex, not really a difference then the same race
but something is different something you just can't place
her bronze skin shimmers just a little in the light
her deep periodot eyes are a beautiful sight
her long ebony hair catching the breeze
just the girl next door
nothing to worry
as she's leaving town driving a fury
wearing a cross round her neck
and converse on her feet
she takes off by the road and dips into the trees

a tan pelt takes her skin and her ears prick the
sound of her ancestor's hymn and a wind blowing round
her tail brushes the thickness and range of the wood
as she's running, not like other wolves
then as solmn as oath she slip back to her home. a shiver
then human and preceeds the worlds' groan.
