Love Is Forever

It towers above me,
Deadly nightmare I thought I'd left behind.
Wind whistling in my ears,
Is there a joke I cannot find?
For he laughs out loud,
Piercing the night sky.
He laughs at my misery,
Is he not afraid to die?
Blood red rain pours from the sky,
Yet he doesn't seem to care.
As he looks at me one last time,
My face filled with despair.
And he whispers,
"It's better off this way."
Before his body and his soul,
Are gone forever and a day.
I held his lifeless body in my arms,
His still heart pumped full of poison.
A small smile on his lips,
The endless dying sun.

Held in an image of us together,
Our love will be forever.
