They Called Me Crazy

They called me crazy,
I ignored the names,
I only wanted you.

My love was like a candle’s flame,
Withstanding all the cruelties thrown
At its way, but never complaining

You took advantage of me,
Ripping my heart out of its very socket,
How could your heart be so livid?

Yet my candle never burnt out,
It withstood the trials of time and love,
You still displayed no affection.

A piece of my heart tore
Everyday, every moment I thought of you,
But you never cared, did you?

I can’t say I hate you,
I can’t say I will ever halt my love,
I can say I deserve more.

But to be quite frank, maybe I don’t.
