Homework, homework
It should taste its own medicine
Easy sometimes, then hard at most
I just need an itty bitty of a hint

Social Studies, English
Science, Math
Oh there are many more to it
I fear its very own wrath

Please spare me
And everyone else feeling the pain
It's torture to every individual
From California, all the way up to Maine

I long to have it all disappear
Homework was never invented; that's my wish
I could put the papers on the ground
And use my foot to squash and squish

But what can we possibly do?
