Her Facade was Almost Too Perfect

She puts up a front
That no one can see through
She hides behind her shield
That will veil her from the world
A smile without a fault
A mask without a crack
Eyes without tears
Personality without a folly
Chest without scars
She was perfect
At least they all thought
But it was all ignorance
If you would have looked harder
You would have notice her shield was not held up so high
Veil was slipping away
Her mask had many cracks, quiet tears were slipping down her eyes
And her scars were quite deep
But nobody could see
Although her pain was quite real
Her façade was almost to perfect
