The Invisible Pain
She’s crying, but no one can listen
She sobs quietly, all too silently
So the world is unknowing of the pain she’s in
No one knows the girl who always smiles
Is really broken inside
She cries everyday behind closed doors
People tell her she’s lucky
To have those friends and family
She just shakes her head, they’ll never know
She really feels like she’s alone
All those days she spends away
No one can know the suffering she wishes was gone
Everyone she’s loved has either
Betrayed her or left
The unbearable loneliness sets in
This is it, is it the end?
She needs someone to put together the pieces
That have been separated for much to long
She sobs quietly, all too silently
So the world is unknowing of the pain she’s in
No one knows the girl who always smiles
Is really broken inside
She cries everyday behind closed doors
People tell her she’s lucky
To have those friends and family
She just shakes her head, they’ll never know
She really feels like she’s alone
All those days she spends away
No one can know the suffering she wishes was gone
Everyone she’s loved has either
Betrayed her or left
The unbearable loneliness sets in
This is it, is it the end?
She needs someone to put together the pieces
That have been separated for much to long
