Oh so casually

We laugh, oh so casually, despite how bad it seems. Cause we won’t know if we’re here tomorrow, those lonely days we filled with sorrow. When it all seems tough, we’ll retreat to our hearts, and those memories that stayed with us. And I know you could never see, how much you still mean to me. Just know I’d trade those rainy days, just to see that smile on your face. Every little breath I take, I fill with regret. All those things I wish I’d never said. Despite those flaws I choose to ignore, your still the only one who’s told me before; the things you wished you’d said to me, the words we hold so dearly. So as we laugh so casually, just know it’s not as it seems. As long as I’m still here tomorrow, I’ll hold that hope until we share those simple words that say we care.
