Prayer to the Moon

Royal Queen of the night sky
who reign with compassion,
I submit to You, Your Highness.

Thy beauty amuses me in the greatest way:
Your golden visage leaves me in awe
in every moment You bestow me an audience.

The epitome of beauty, that is You,
drive men mad and lads mad,
for Your brilliance is unparalleled.

us creatures dwelling in midgard
succumb to your influence
forgive us, we bow down to Thy nobility.

Oh my Majesty, my Queen
I acknowledge Your magnificence,
as You reveal Your full splendor!

I request, and I am humble in thy presence
that You may smile on me in every night,
and that You grant me an audience, once again.

I pray that you accept this offer- my words of adoration.
