Reality Reversed
Reality Reversed
What if the “light”,
Is the lie?
Trying to gloss,
Our tearful cry,
And maybe the dark,
Often seen as bad—
Reflects a truth,
We knew not we had,
It’s weird, I know,
We can’t see in the dark,
But often true light,
Blazes through— a spark,
And in this darkness,
We believe our own mind,
Until the light’s turned on
And makes us blind,
I’m sorry, it’s odd, I know,
But really, I feel, it ought to be said—
That the real truth comes
From inside your head.
What if the “light”,
Is the lie?
Trying to gloss,
Our tearful cry,
And maybe the dark,
Often seen as bad—
