Deserved

There is a man.
He sits in his cell,
His soul he did sell.
His little girl in a hospital beaten and bruised,
So young, so abused.
Many years he would serve,
He got what he deserved.

There is a woman.
She sits in a clinic lobby waiting for her check up,
Her innocent child murdered in slices, a nurses picking him up.
She did it you see?
But she goes punish free.
Her baby felt it all,
Even if he was he was small.
Why?
So her perfect life can be preserved.
She didn't get what she deserved.
