Welcome to Paradise
So I am staring at the trees outside
Blowing in the clear black winds
Outside a window in a paradise
That covers up my sins
This is not a holiday
This is still my life
All my fears never disappeared
When I ran away that night
I'm away and now alone
And you would think I could relax
But the violent winds still beat
On my brain and take their tax
So in a weeks time, I will go back
I have no other choice
At least now, I understand
My home still owns my voice
(Thank you Green Day)
