Cuts and Burns

Caution there.
We do not spear.
A life and heart,
will cut and burn.

Cuts thru light.
Burns thru sight.
Bring forth mercy.
We do not forgive.

An eye for an eye.
A soul for a soul.
Death will lie.
Look me in the eye.

Ragged and ripped.
Torned and clipped.
As the world turns,
we see cuts and burns.

Together Forever.
Our lives shall be,
Honest for Eternity.
