Who Can Be Proud of the Union Jack Any More?

Days grow old,
The past stays young,
The world seems cold
And hateful words drip from the tongue.

Why does the future seem bleak?
Misted over by our younger thoughts creeping in.
The politics and government turning weak,
In the eyes of god all he can see is sin.

The old live longer and more brought in this world,
The rapid destruction of our planet earth.
The future of the UK is hurled,
Every minute a mum is giving birth.

We fight amongst each other because the best live and the rest left aside,
Friends rob steals and back stab the people they know.
People on drugs and others getting greedy it has spread world wide,
Heating bills go up when the weather gets cold and the UK's filled with snow.

Who can truly be proud of the union jack any more?
So many homeless and it sits there at the back of the queens head.
The government gets richer but look around. so many poor.
With those final words I think it's enough said.
