They Hugged a Beautiful Hug

I saw them hug a beautiful hug.
Her arms resting on his shoulders.
She was laughing in his face.
"Watch it," I said
almost like a warning.
Then he grabbed her arms,
wrapped them tighter around his neck
and he held her.

I can't get it out of my head.
I don't know why I warned her.
Maybe I wanted to stop it,
because I thought such a
nice embrace shouldn't be wasted on her.

I know though,
that I'm just selfish.
Because I always replay that hug in my head,
with me in his arms.
