The Best Friend that I Will NEVER Lose.

You were my best friend.
I told you everything,
And you did the same to me.
We would kid around and hit each other,
Just as sisters.
We would talk everyday in the summer,
And every night during the winter.
Even when there was nothing new
We would talk about the most random stuff.
We were both weird,
in our own special way.
But there comes a time,
When we meet new friends.
That they're much like our own personality,
Instead of the opposite.
Most of the time it was you.
That had new friends,
While I kept the old.
I felt lonely.
I felt like I was losing my best friend or the other half of me.
I know it sounds dumb, but as I usually say 'it's just me being emotional again'.
Whenever I brought it up.
Even though I speak the quote as a lie.
I knew that you probably weren't even thinking about losing our friendship,
Even though it was slowly happening...
But,
Not to us of course...
