Dance Away

You turn, I turn
I brush up to kick my ear
I do a grande jeté
As I let out a silent cheer.

We laugh as we hop on our blocks
We do as many fouettes as we please
Brush the dirt from our silken frocks
As we get up off our knees.

There is much you can learn from us
We take a beautiful and elegant form
We hop and leap and prance about
A powerful dancing storm.

It takes a great deal of strength
You pant away while I smile
You have a lot of work ahead of you
But it may take you quite a while.

So it just goes to show
We do dance a lot; nay
We work our hardest and to the fullest
We follow our dreams everyday.
