Can you mend a heart who doesn't believe in love?

She once did believe in love
She never did once doubt
When she met him she fell in love

It was her first love and they were doing fine
But another girl came in their path
He left leaving her alone with her broken heart

She cried and cursed the heavens above
She tried to mend her own heart
But not even a small crack was cured

She failed and hated love
She told her self to never love
And the years went on...

A man came and fell in love with her
But her heart said no
He was shocked "why would a girl turn away from love?"

The man cried out for her to love him
But yet her heart was colder than winter
She told him "Love is just a waste of time for you and I."
