Love is the color of pinks and reds on roses;
It sounds like soft music playing in your mind.
It tastes like caramel chocolate that melts in your mouth
And smells like perfume and cologne.
It looks like their beautiful face so close to yours.
It makes me feel nervous.

Love is the soft blue as endless as the sky;
It sounds like genuine laughter
And tastes like home cooked meals.
It smells like your home and your mom and dad’s hugs.
Love looks like familiar smiling faces.
It makes me feel at home.

Love is the color of rainbows after the rain;
It sounds like that preppy pop song played repeatedly on the radio so it plays in your head all day,
And tastes like water;
Indefinable and indescribable.
It smells like bonfires in the summer
And it looks like a star-filled night after a warm day in spring.
Love makes me feel perfectly small.

Love is all the little things.
All the things you can’t bear to lose.
The caramel colored hair,
The chocolaty brown eyes.
That scent,
That sight,
That sound,
That taste,
That touch.
Love is hard to find,
But once you let your guard down and stop searching for it,
You’ll know when you have it.
