Because of Beer

An ill-fitting tux,
A blushing bride,
Connecting doors to open wide.
A chapel working every minute.
A city drunk with people in it.
A wedding held up by the booze.
Too wasted to know what to choose.
An accidental chance of fate,
Sobering in the morn...too late.
But say these people were mated by soul,
It would be the booze that made them whole.
Though they aren't drunk they can not see,
They're blinded by sobriety.
Their eyes, they lead them to and fro.
But a heart, in a drunken daze tells them to go.
It's amazing this bar sparked a life-long love here,
True love was found because of beer.
