Where Is Our Love?

Why can't we all just love a little more?
Why can't we all just be love whores?
I know we could be it doesn't take much.
But no wants to try it, for there is no rush.

Hating someone makes you stronger than loving,
But hating someone makes you more lonely.
If I had to choose, I'd never be alone
I'd never hate, but never forgive
Just remember it's their life to live.

If they want to burn bridges, let them do so.
Because you aren't a director, running their show.
You're a person in a much bigger picture,
And you can't control all.
You are not cinderella and this is NOT your ball.

So spread the love, it's much easier than you think.
Not to mention you never know what it'll bring.
A best friend, a lover, or just someone you know
Why not stand out and give it a go?

Sometimes we get lost, but it's the people we love.
Who bring us back, and that I know for a fact.
We make mistakes, but they always let us back in.

People are critical, always questioning
But never ever, just accepting.
We get a few who think they are,
But then when someone doesn't think the way they do,
They don't like them.
Do you know what you are?

You aren't accepting, you're a hippocrite.
As am I, for calling you out.
But this my friend is what this poems about.

No one can ever fully love everyone, but we sure can try
And why not, it's best to die.
With more friends than you can count.

Then to die with more people, shaking their heads.
And carrying out, hateful crimes all over the world
Just because, their voices aren't heard.

Sometimes you choose to move to left,
But when you get there you're stuck in quicksand
And then you've gotta wait for someone,
To hold out their hand.

Pull you up from the bottom you are at,
Bring you back when you think you can't.
When they do this, you'll be higher than before
But remember, to pass it on.

As sooner or later all the love will be gone
