Drought in my Eyes

I miss the feeling of tears
The swelled drops of emotion
Falling down on my face
Released into the river I've cried

I miss the feeling of tears
The salty wetness on my cheeks
Something I urn for so much
Like the cloudless sky

The swelled drops of emotion
Filled with pleasure spiked with pain
They burst open as they hit the page
Like the doors on the last day of school

Falling down on my face
They are no longer choked back
Urning to be let out
Like the prisoner crying injustice

Released into the river I've cried
They flow along with the rushing current
Escaping from my eye's grasp
Like the prisoner who got his justice
