Infinite

Forever?
Is it possible for something to survive in the cold?
Live in nothing but darkness...
Are we infinite?
Did our creater mean us to be so?
Shallow hearts that beat on the cement ground cover our ability to see.
Our ability to love & hold.
Can we be infinite?
Like the sun that turns but continues to burn?
Or are we dead; like the leaves that soon cripple & leave the trees.
We are not infinite.
But we can make love last us a life time, which can be short.
But it shall feed our desires.
It shall be infinite.
