Ode to Romance

How many hearts ponder upon the river of lonliness
Seeking love, but such a terriblething.
A soul should be wasted and lost in the time

How alone is "alone"?
Covered in friends as if swarmed with bees to honey
When you cannot fathom love?
How alone are you going to be until you find that love?

Let me ask of you.
Do you have faith inlove as to where can you question me?
They say all things have limits, but must all things have limits?
Have you ever felt as if you could be in a big city but you
Were a ghost, invisible, like no one sees you?

The faith i have is not love but out of love,
The longing desire of love to understand
To hold, to know, to kiss those angel lips for the firts time,
Time is not measureable, it has no limit
Time cannot pass you as a ghost in the hall
Tell me now how I fall?

You speak in riddles, dear stranger
Your words I can no longer define
Is it true what you speak of time?
You speak of love like in books I've read
You might make me believe love is not dead
I've been searching for so long
I've lost the melody of this song.

The love in books is real in life,
Looking harder that love makes it worth the strife
Time with one another cannot match or define
The amount of precious time
Spent in love from afar and so close
Happiness is a drug; I may need another dose

Thought of so long being alone,
I can't believe I lost hope in something I should have known
If I only looked around to see who
Was here, the people who care about me
So very dear
Even a stranger I've never known
Has showed me I'm no longer alone

Knowing you has been a pleasure indescribeable
Just know love will treat You better
And remember:
Love is what you have found
And what you need now from those who love
