Imagination

In the mind of children does imagination seize all? Children can be anything they wish at any time they want. They can take leaves and tree sticks and make them into a courageous battle. The can fight till the death, for a fair maddens love, fighting the armies that approach them and fight off the demons that they send upon them. Or they can jump up and down on their beds and pretend to play for a sold out arena. Singing their songs for their millions of fans. Rocking out on stage with their band backing them up, touching millions of people’s hearts with their words. They can fight fires or crime. Fly through the sky and be a hero to millions of innocent civilians. When we grow older do we lose this depth of imagination? Do we lose this pride that we had in us as children? Do we lose that determination to be what we dreamt?
