I Remember

Verse 1: The day I remeber was when I had come down to visit you from Maine. You said you would be there for me and I bleived you. I didn't knwothat you were dying.

Verse 2: The day I remember was the whole family told you to go to the doctors on Christmas day. I said that I would drag you to the doctors if I had to.

Verse 3: You had jsut laugh and smiled. You had thought it was all a joke, but you wen to the doctor's and that when you found out. You were dying because of cancer.

Verse 4: I remember that when my mom told me you were just sick. That you would make it through this sickness. You also had a smile on your face.

Verse 5: The day i remember was the day i found out you weren't going to make it. We came to visit you and I read "I love you" the book. You were laying in a hospital bed.

Verse 6: The day I remember was when i hear you had pst on. I could not bleive it. I was so very hurt that you were no longer going to bne aroudn to help me out.

Verse 7: The day I remember was when it was time to put you to rest. I had at first refuse to leave the car. I didn't want to believe that you were truly gone.

Verse 8: The day I remember was when I got a photo album of our last days on earth. I saw that even in death you had a smile.

Verse 9: I saw that you knew that you were going to a better place.
