Sweet Kisses

Kissing your lips, face and caressing your cheek
I'm invisible to your sight
The sun spreads its mighty wings
You long for my touch

Raindrops tap the ground
My spirit runs by, leaving each tree supine
You curse my name as my cold, harsh love whips each thing live or dead

Life is still and I've left you to fend for yourself
Your mind thinks of the memories we made
You scream for me, because I'll not return for awhile

Then God sends me on an errand
You find leaves on the ground as evidence of my return
We reunite and our kiss is magical, perfect
You breathe me in and stretch your lips in happiness
