I will cry for you

Today i asked you name but you walked right past.
The next day i spoke to you but you walked away.
So at home i prayed for you to notice.
You asked for a pencil and turned away from me.

No matter how hard i tried you never gave me the time of day.

So at night for an entire week i cried.
Why didn't you love the way i loved?
Was i ugly?
Was i not good enough?

So i told you how a felt but you said you you weren't "into relationships".

That sentence alone shattered me.

When i cry i cry for you.
Not for myself but for you because you didn't see the wonderful girl in front of you.
I cry because you aren't strong enough for it.

So now i cry because you lost and i won because you'll never meet a person as great to you as me.
