The Kiss of Death
As the sunsets over the water I walk along the beach
my hand in yours, the sun is gone and the night has engulfed us.
We lay on the cool sand staring at the stars;
you turn your body so your facing me,
you turn my head towards yours,
I hesitate not knowing what you will do.
But I take the chance as your lips reach mine
a sharp pain shoots through every inch of my body;
I lay there my body limp as a wet noodle;
you stand there and laugh everything is spinning
around me it all comes to an immediate halt;
My eyes faintly open, I see you smiling
with the biggest smirk on your face,
All i hear you say is "The Kiss of Death"
I wanna cry, get help, something
But my world turns to nothing.
my hand in yours, the sun is gone and the night has engulfed us.
We lay on the cool sand staring at the stars;
you turn your body so your facing me,
you turn my head towards yours,
I hesitate not knowing what you will do.
But I take the chance as your lips reach mine
a sharp pain shoots through every inch of my body;
I lay there my body limp as a wet noodle;
you stand there and laugh everything is spinning
around me it all comes to an immediate halt;
My eyes faintly open, I see you smiling
with the biggest smirk on your face,
All i hear you say is "The Kiss of Death"
I wanna cry, get help, something
But my world turns to nothing.
