your sword.

You drew your words as you would draw a sword.
So lethal and elegant,
A devil in disguise.
I was captivated at the words that effortlessly left your mouth.
Sword dancing,
in my gaze,
held a longing.
To touch, to feel,
that of which you spoke.
The glint of your blade,
Blinding me,
I'm defensless.
I see the smirk glide onto your face.
As your words cut right through me.
The sharade you fool me with,
like the sword you parade around with,
Deadly as a viper.
And I can see it, ready to strike.
Metal makes contact with pale flesh.
Your words drowning out my thoughts,
I fight with all my might,
but my weakness is laid before me,
pulsiing and throbbing,
I see my heart stop beating.
