The Actress

I'm just an actress.
That is running out of lines to say.
An actress,
Who's biggest fear is not being loved for who she is,
But being loved for the fake smiles that she puts on.
Her smile,
Might look flattering.
But this smile quickly turns upside down,
Into a frown.
That she doesn't want anyone to see.
She doesn't want anyone to worry.
That something is wrong,
In her “picture perfect” life.
This actress,
Sits in the dark at night,
And wonders why this ever happened to her.
She wonders why she has to be the one who is caught up in these lies.
Why can't people love her for who she is?
She just wants to be normal,
And not lie.
This actress,
Is finally done with all the tears,
And the lies.
That sparkle in her eye,
Is slowly fading,
It's no longer there.
People can finally see,
All the lies that come with this show.
This actress,
Is finally done being someone she's not,
Her smile is fading away,
And her tears are starting to show.
