Remember

This is where you are.
So, where are you?
The beginning, the end, or the middle?
Do you remember who you were?
Do you know who you want to be?
Do you know who you are now?
Walk around,
Observe where you are,
Close your eyes,
And remember where you are.
Open your eyes,
Look out a window,
Look at the nature, the details.
Watch everything.
Sit down.
And have a blank piece of paper
With a pencil.
Write, “Who Am I?” at the top.
Answer that question with details.
Is it easy?
Is it hard?
Find someone that knows you,
Find someone who cares.
And ask them to write down
Who they think you are.
Compare what they said,
To what you said.
What is the same?
What is difference?
Take a walk.
Alone.
Watch everyone,
Watch everything.
And remember this is a poem.
Remember who and what you are.
Remember that you are the one who
Makes the decisions for who you are.
Not anyone else.
And remember your friends (and enemies).
Watch for obstacles,
Watch for clues,
And watch for yourself,
Whatever you choose.
