Superiority

Equality the word seems to burn on my tongue
As I look down upon the mangled corpses
I feel no sympathy for them or their ill fates
They are not our equal in any way
I was once a caring man
The thought of violence made me tremble
Change was swift do to the war
Superiority was drilled into our heads
It was a simple task to become brainwashed
Ignorance really is bliss
Join the cause or meet your demise
Betrayal becomes common place
Once friends now enemies
Helping others can lead to your death
The simplest answer is to give in
I will not regret the decision I made
Though I know it was a selfish one
