There's Nothing There

The sultry breeze whispers through my hair
I sit outside in a calm collected stare
Nothing more I feel inside me now
Like an empty wound
I know it should hurt but,
There’s nothing there.
Simple and plain my wanting presumes
You smile but face away,
Just like how you always acted
Quiet with no reaction
This would cause your loss, but
There’s nothing there.

**Notes: Its about a boy taking my heart, but when he went to steal it, there was nothing there.
